Devlog 2: Getting there and some art!


Got a bit more work done in the code, but I wanted to break up some of the coding with some artwork.

A basic concept idea for Tik, the kobold engineer and main character the player will be playing as! She's quite durable, and getting flung in the air is all for the good of the tribe!


As for the programming side of things, I've added a tracker for the distance the player has traveled from the start point, and made a way to represent that visually. I've also added a rough stat screen that triggers when the player stops. The challenging part about this will be to preserve the amount of money gained between the scenes of shop and the main game.
